What's different about Bathtub Bakery Bath Bombs?
How many uses do you get out of one Bath Bomb?
Bathtub Bakery offers so many different options for shapes and sizing of bath bombs. We recommend one use per bath bomb. Each bath bomb is specifically designed to provide the best experience to our bathers. If you would like to have multiple uses out of a bath bomb try out one of our Bath Crush bags! Bath Crush is the same great bath bomb mixture but all crushed up! This allows our customers to use as little or as much as they'd like in one bath!
What are Shower Cupcakes?
Shower Cupcakes are essentially shower steamers with our own Bakery Twist! The base is made out of what a bath bomb is made out of without the salts and oils. Our Cupcake base and hand piped icing are both packed with essential oils so when water hits your cupcake, it will gradually dissolve releasing all of the chosen essential oils and fragrances into the steam of your shower!
Directions:
Place your Shower Cupcake on the floor of the shower and your job is done. I find near the back of the shower works best, but where it goes depends on the user!
- Some will put the cupcake near the drain to get a stronger scent but it dissolves and goes down the drain faster.
- Some leave it near the back for occasional water exposure and scent.
- If you have a shower with a built in shower ledge, feel free to put the cupcake on that and throw water at it whenever you want to release fragrance!
When on the bottom of the shower, each Cupcake on average lasts between 2-4 uses. Water exposure varies how long each cupcake can last.
Please note: The icing takes longer to dissolve and is hardened so it may take a couple of minutes to begin releasing some scent. Due to the high amount of essential oils used, shower cupcakes are for shower use only. Tub may be slippery after use, and they do look edible, but do not eat, or use on skin.
Why Soy Candles?
Why are we addicted to using Soy wax?
There are seriously so many reasons!
- Our Soy candles are natural, biodegradable, cruelty-free, and vegan.
- It also has a lifespan up to 50% longer than paraffin based candles!
- Soy wax tends to also be favoured by environmentally conscious customers because it is not made from petroleum, like paraffin candles. Burning Soy candles does not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere. Soy wax also does not emit toxic fumes! #LOVE
- Soot should be avoided because it is unhealthy and can eventually coat furniture and walls. Soy candles produce about 90% less soot than paraffin candles!
- Please note, since each candle is hand poured so there may be small differences. We make all candles in small batches.
Custom Orders
Since our slogan is 'your recipe for relaxation,' it seems only fair to give the opportunity for our customers to create their own recipe!
Bathtub Bakery accepts custom orders all year round! Depending on your vision we do need to know roughly 2-6 weeks in advance to design and produce before being shipped or picked up.

Shipping + Processing
Where are we shipping: Bathtub Bakery is currently only shipping within Canada and to the United States.
How long will it take to process my order? Everything at Bathtub Bakery is handmade in small batches to ensure quality, fresh products being provided in store and online at all times.
Although our average turnaround time is 2-4 business days, please allow up to 7 business days for your order to be made and processed depending on the season (especially Christmas). We do often update our announcement bar on our website home page if wait times change. Once processed and made, it will then be shipped with a tracking number. If you accidentally do not receive a tracking number within two days please contact us and we can send you it!

We use a third party shipping company that has access to UPS, FedEx, Canpar & Purolator. We also ship through Canada Post when necessary, if you would like to/need to ship through Canada Post you MUST select the PO Box/ Canada Post preference option at checkout if the order is under $100, if the order is above $100 all orders are subject to free shipping with exceptions of Alaska and Islands. On average products take three business days within the province and four days for national mail to arrive. With this being said, once the package leaves our hands, shipping time is out of our control.
If you are ordering into the United States Customs, Duty and/or brokerage fees are the customer's responsibility should the order placed be stopped entering the border.
Local Deliveries
Bathtub Bakery offers free local delivery on orders over $50.00, within a 10km radius of the store. To access this, you'll need to put your delivery address under our 'shipping' option! Please use order notes/delivery instructions if there are specific places you'd like us to leave the package, lock box codes, buzzers etc. We will do our best to leave your package in the most secure place possible and send you a delivery notification right away. Local deliveries can be dropped off anytime between 10:00am and 8:00pm any day of the week, and we cannot guarantee specific delivery days. Bathtub Bakery is not responsible for any lost/stolen items after the order has been dropped off. If you are nervous at all about your package being left out, please select order pick-up and come to the store during open hours as an alternative.
Order Pick Ups
If you select Pick-Up when placing an order online, please try and pick your order up once ready within 10 business days to free up space in the store. We understand that sometimes that's not possible, or things come up! No worries, just give us a heads up if you know.
We will keep orders here for pick up, but if your order has not been picked up for a while with no update we will try and contact you - if we do not hear back within one or two methods of contact and your order has 'expired' within our fresh concept time frame, your order will be thrown out and there will not be a refund given.
Donation Requests (Buck and Doe)
Being a small business we get a lot of donation requests. Our donation policy is that we require 50% of the retail value. Meaning, if you would like a $50.00 gift box made up for your event, it would cost $25.00 etc. We do require proof of your event as well, whether it be a ticket or event page. If you have any specific questions regarding donations please reach and and we will be happy to address them!
Allergies/Info
We understand that everyone's skin is different. In the event of a relevant allergy please contact us directly, or write in the special instructions box at checkout. We can not guarantee any product to be free of an allergen due to our production space, but we will always do our best and take extra precautions when making your order. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use of that product and feel free to contact us anytime! Sometimes a customer's skin is good with one fragrance oil and not another, and our ingredients list will just state 'fragrance' or 'perfume'. We can inform you on what that fragrance oil is called for future use! All products are made with every skin type in mind, and if you're feeling nervous - the best way to test a product out is to wet the skin, and put the product directly on that area. In most cases, if no irritation occurs then you should be able to use the product with no issues.

Can you eat the products?
You know, sometimes the name can be a little confusing. Even though 99% of customers find out they can't eat any products, this is still a popular question and I always appreciate that, (even if people are joking). My goal is to make the products look edible so I love when people have to take a second-look!
To answer this question though so we are all clear, (lol) all Bathtub Bakery products are for external use only. #DoNotEat
Return Policy
Due to the personal nature of our products, All Online Sales are final. With this being said, in the event of a product not meeting your customer satisfaction we would like to know about it.
